The Association notes with regret the death of Lt Gen Sir Leonard Thornton KCB CBE. The funeral took place at St Pauls Anglican Cathedral, Wellington, with full military honours, on Tuesday 15th June at 12:30pm. Maj Gen Ron Hassett gave the Eulogy. 16th Field Regiment coordinated the funeral arrangements and provided the bearer party, firing party and part of the tri-service guard.
