BROADCAST MICROPHONES - A PHOTO COLLECTION

This vintage microphone photo collection is not to be considered a definitive compendium of early microphones. Rather it is simply a pictorial review of some of the more notable early broadcast-type microphones that I have been able to acquire over the past 30+ years. Even within that narrow collection ambit however, there are still a few significant holes (historically important missing mics) that have not been plugged; ergo, it is by no means to be considered a complete photo review of broadcast microphones.

Use the PHOTO COLLECTION INDEX below to select the microphone you wish to view. A symbol indicates the particular microphone has been added to the photo collection since the last update of this page. Use the Monitor Page Panel for free e-mail notification each time this page is updated.

If you would like to receive any available manufacturer documentation on any microphone in this photo review, e-mail your request to [email protected]. Some of the most requested documentation is available for download directly from these web site pages. Look for the red push pin symbol () in this and other sections of this web site. Click on the push pin symbol to download the desired documentation file. Files are in Adobe®Acrobat® .PDF format. If you do not have Acrobat® ReaderTM, get it now. It's Free!
