This map is believed to be by William Faden (1750-1836), as of 1771 the "Geographer to His Majesty and the Prince of Wales", possibly published elsewhere earlier. Although drafted by a non-participant, it might be considered primary since it is in the published work by an active participant in the battle and would have been subject to his scrutiny and approval.
