Collecting Your Award

Alexander the Great

If your site won the Alexander the Great on the Web Top 5% Award, congratulations. You are now entitled to display this nifty graphic! If your site did not, feel free to display this graphic with "We wish we had won this award, but we didn't," or something like that.

There are two ways of getting the award to show up on your site:

1. We serve the image
Just cut and paste this HTML onto your page; the image is served from here. We don't mind the bandwidth and our server's fairly fast.

2. You serve the image
Cut and paste this onto your page, and download the image above to the same folder. On most browsers, you can download with a right-click.

If you want to your category, or to the "Top 5%" page, go ahead and change <a href="http://www.isidore-of-seville.com/Alexanderama.html"> to <a href="http://www.isidore-of-seville.com/alexander/top.html"> or whatever. If you're putting the award on a non-white background, use a version from the bottom of this page, or ask me to matte it on a different color.

Whatever way you do it, you'll be justifying all the time I spent on this silly thing, and doing your bit to bring back the award-happy early days of the Internet!

Thanks,

Tim Spalding, editor
