    Executive Officer. Commander or Lt. Commander on a tin can. Responsible for most of the mickey mouse stuff that happened or didn't happen on board, regarding personnel/duties. Such as having to wear dress blues for line duty when the lines were tarry hawsers. Bad enough even with nylon lines.
