About the AuthorStaff Sergeant Tim Rowe joined the New Zealand Army in 1985, as a gunner in the Royal New Zealand Artillery. He trade changed in 1994 to Education Assistant with the Military Studies Institute, where is he is currently the Senior Instructor at the Trentham Detachment. This paper is an abridged version of Staff Sergeant Rowe's 2003 research exercise written in partial fulfilment of the requirements for a Master of Philosophy (Defence and Strategic Studies) from Massey University. The original paper received the first A+ mark awarded by the Centre for Defence Studies. Staff Sergeant Rowe also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Diploma in Tertiary Teaching. |
