Selected worksDying GaulDoctored photos of the Dying Gaul made to simulate its painted appearance by Eric Case (Virtual Sculpture Gallery). Very interesting case. Smallish reproduction by Talaria Enterprises. Information on the play The Dying Gaul, by Craig Lucas, performed by the Speakeasy Stage Company (Boston) Also performed in Glasgow. There are a lot more pages on this play. "Our Racial Heritage: The Dying Gaul" Racist nastiness, which quotes liberally from other web sources. The author doesn't understand the historical circumstances of its production, which have nothing to do with "corrupted-by-multi-culturalism Romans." Blech! The URL is http://www.wakeupordie.com/html/dyingaul/dyngaul1.html. If I link to it directly search engines like Google will bump up its ranking, which is already too high. Altar of PergamonPergamon from Constanze Witt's "Life in the Hellenistic City" course (UT Austin) - now appears restricted to UT | |
