REGIMENTAL & UNIT ARCHIVES

1914-1919

Over the more than twenty years I have been researching the Great War, I have collected together a vast archive about the activity of the armed forces who fought it: not just from British and Commonwealth sources, but French and German ones as well. The Old Front Line gives me an opportunity to share this research with a wider public, and I will gradually add articles as space and time permits.

Some are detailed accounts, others are summaries of service, and a few are just single, unpublished photographs or documents.

If I can help with research on this subject, then do not hesitate to contact me.
