NZ Artillery units   1946 - 1950

At the end of World War 2, 25 Battery formed part of the occupying force in Japan. As such, it is one of the few artillery units in the world to occupy a country following an atomic blast. (See personal account.)

In 1948 the Territorial Force was reactivated. Its artillery units were amalgamated with the Regular Force Artillery in 1949.
