The Gryphonguild, the center of Gryph-ophilia on the web. A newcomer like I can only marvel at the size and evident activity of the griffin community, manifested largely through The Gryphboard . The Guild's website hosts a variety of other resources, including mythology, griffin books, the Guild Purity Test and so forth. The site is really the gateway to an interesting subculture, and often operating on the "gentle fiction"—to steal a phrase from Sherlockiana—that griffins are real. To an outsider, this can get a little trying.
