"A Fulbright Adventure in Portugal" by Susan Athey. Athey doesn't have much on the town (although she writes "We can now write a book on the best places to eat!"), and only a few pictures, but much useful information for people doing a teach-abroad in Europe. I found her page about the University fascinating. Promotions work quite differently there.

Rosemary KimBal, California artist. after visiting the Capela dos Ossos, Rosemary wonders if "all we were to do in Evora was to visit monuments to the subjugation of the populace by the church."

Jason Stone: "Bums in Evora" an entertaining account of looking for ice cream at the Pousada dos Lóios.

"So, imagine two guys sporting 10 days of beard growth, wearing the same shorts and t-shirts they had put on at the beginning of the day before they drove almost 300 km in 40C temperature, walking into a "luxury class" hotel by the name of Pousada dos Lóios...
Jason's an American in Paris with an MBA, and currently looking for work.
