Press Release from Dwyer's Office Regarding the 1963 Federal Equal Pay Law

This press release from the congressional office of Representative Florence Dwyer (1902 - 1976) describes the issues and arguments  involved in the passage of federal equal pay legislation.  Dwyer was instrumental in the passage of such legislation both in New Jersey and in Congress. Notice the list of women's organizations credited with supporting the legislation.
