Dorothy Cross (1906-1972)

This photograph of Dorothy (Cross) Jensen was taken in 1937 when she was doing archeological field research at the Abbott Farm site near Trenton. While a professor on the faculty of Hunter College in Manhattan, Cross lived in Trenton and did much of her archeological work in New Jersey. Her research on New Jersey Indian sites was published in 1941 and her research on the Abbott Farm outside Trenton in 1956.
