This image was inspired by a very strange stream of speculation about the first graduating class of the Tarleton Nursery School -- as they might have been envisioned by Norman Thelwell, the wonderful British cartoonist, author of such gems as Angels on Horseback, A Leg in Each Corner, and Riding Academy.
