Shermans in Canadian Service: North-West Europe, June 1944

The American M4 series of Medium tanks equipped Canadian armoured units in both North-West Europe and the Mediterannean theatres of operation. The M4 was widely known in British and Canadian service as the "Sherman". The following table is but a small portion of Sherman tank totals in British/Canadian service researched by Peter Brown of the United Kingdom. Viewers who would like to see the tables in their entirety should visit Francis Liew's Armour and Tracks page listed in my Links of Similar Interest page. STEEL CHARIOTS is indebted to Peter for permission to use these Canadian totals.
