2 Anti-Aircraft Tanks
8 Tanks (plus 2 AA Tanks)
HQ Armd Bde 10 Cruisers
8 Observation Post Tanks
10 Tanks (plus 8 O.P. Tanks)
Armd Regt (3) Each:
55 Cruisers
6 Close Support Cruisers
11 Light Tanks
6 AA Tanks
216 Tanks (plus 18 AA Tanks)
Armd Recce Regt (Type B) 40 Cruisers
6 C.S. Cruisers
30 Light Tanks
5 AA Tanks
76 Tanks (plus 5 AA Tanks)
  Total: 310 Tanks (plus 8 O.P. Tanks and 25 AA Tanks)

Changes: The above organization includes the alterations made in the basic organization during October-November 1943. In addition, an Independent MG Company was added to Division Troops in the United Kingdom and 21 Army Group to replace the Support Company (or Group) within the Infantry Brigade (WE II/239/1 wef 11 Feb 1944); the change applied also to Armoured Divisions in CMF and ME wef 28 May 1944 - WO Record Letters 1944 page 465.
