Tank Establishment for an Armoured Brigade was now:

Total Tanks in HQ Armd Bde 10 Cruisers
Total Tanks in Armd Regt 46 Cruisers
6 C.S. Cruisers
Total 166 Tanks

By WO Record Letters 1940 page 452 dated 5 October 1940 each armoured brigade in an armoured division received one motor battalion (from the division support group). The WE of HQ Armoured Brigade and of an armoured regiment were unchanged.
