United States Memorial Monument

The United States Memorial Monument, also known as the Centennial Monument was dedicated in 1932.  It was originally placed on the Cowpens Battlefield near the site where the American Continental Line was situated during the Battle.  However, when the existing visitor center was constructed for the Nation's bicentennial, the monument was removed to its present location adjacent to the visitor center.
