In this  learning activity students will:

1. Identify at least four actions that 19th century women, individually and collectively, took in the fight to gain equality. 

2. Learn about some of the inequalities facing 19th century women.

 3. Understand actions that they, as citizens in contemporary America, can take to bring about changes.
