The
Canadian Military Pattern vehicle is today one of the most easily-recognized
of classic military trucks. Characterized by their inverted windshields
(13-cabs) and blunt snouts, They were a miracle of production. Working
from British engineering specs. Ford of Canada and General Motors of Canada
pooled their design and engineering staff and had these vehicles under
production in a matter of months. They proved to be rugged and reliable,
and performed yeoman service to all Commonwealth nations through and well
after the war. |
