It's strange to set-up a bio page for a girl about whom I know only two solid bits of information, but I have referred to her several times elsewhere so this is easier than leaving her information spread across a half-dozen footnotes.
On May 26, 1801, a child was christened Banina Georgiana Tarleton in Old Church, Saint Pancras, London. The registry lists Banastre Tarleton as her father, and gives her mother's name only as "Kolina."1
Her life was brief. The obituary column in the June, 1818 issue of Gentleman's Magazine lists the death on April 12 of "Miss Tarleton, Daughter of General Sir Banastre Tarleton, bart."2
So far, I haven't tracked down any juicy gossip -- far less any solid information -- about the circumstances of her birth or her relationship with her father. The only other mention of her I've seen is in Tarleton's biography in the Parliamentary records, where they list him as having one daughter. (The wording there is confusing. As it's written, there's no way to tell she isn't the product of his marriage with Susan Bertie.)
