A copy of this engraving can be found among the Tarleton Papers which reside in the Liverpool Public Records Office, suggesting that Ban may have clipped and kept it when it appeared in some contemporary magazine or newspaper. Unfortunately, there is no documentation associated with it, so the date and location of its original publication is unknown to me.

"Lt. Col. Tarleton" is printed over the rock in the lower right corner, but it didn't really come through in this copy-of-a-copy.
