'La Guerre au Jour le Jour' (The War Day by Day) was a serial publication of a multi volume history of the Great War. It was published by the same publishers as 'Panorama de la Guerre' (Librairie Jules Tallandrier), but while the latter title was a very colorful and richly illustrated set of volumes, 'La Guerre au Jour le Jour' is rather dry, uninspired and old-fashioned looking, containing little original illustrative material. The author was Lt. Colonel Rousset who previously wrote a renowned history of the war of 1870-71.
