'La Grande Guerre Vu par
les Grands Ecrivains'

a Literary Magazine

'La Grande Guerre Vu par les Grands Ecrivains' (the Great War as Seen by Great Writers) was a small-sized semi-literary magazine featuring articles by more or less renowned and respected authors and political or military figures. In spite of its resounding title and impressive crenditials, it was a rather cheaply printed magazine with a less than impressive layout and general presentation. All illustrations and photographs were taken from other magazines, both French and British.
