Pennington Quality Market

Located at the intersection of West Delaware Avenue and State Route 31, Pennington Quality Market has a long history in the Borough. The Market, as it is known locally, was once located on Main Street. Unfortunately, when the time came for expansion, there wasn't any space available on Main Street. So, in April 1960 the market moved to its current location.

Relocation was quickly followed by the appearance of several new stores to the south of the Market and the Market became the anchor store for the first shopping mall in Pennington. The Market faces west toward Route 31. The rest of the stores (not shown) are to the the right as you look at the photo.
