While the current reprint of this book was published in 1994 (the original came out in 1946), I only purchased this recently in a major UK bookstore, and it has apparently become available again.

The author served as an officer in the 5th Seaforth Highlanders, 51st (Highland) Division from 1943. This book tells the story of his battalion from formation to the end of the war in Germany, and spans some of the key British battles of WW2. Written within a year of the end of the war, it is a remarkably fresh account and stands as a classic account of one battalion's service during the Second World War. It also includes a Roll of Honour, and Honours and Awards. Highly recommended.
