FRONT LINE TOURS

We will be issuing a company brochure in Autumn 2003 explaining in greater detail our plans for the future. If you would like a copy please email us your name and address.

FRONT LINE TOURS

Welcome to Front Line Tours!

We are a new company, but far from new to Battlefield Tours and Military History. Together we have many years experience in organising and leading tours to battlefields all over the world, and for the first time have teamed forces to share our knowledge and enthusiasm for military history with a wider public.

At the moment this is our provisional website until the company becomes more active later this year. Please keep calling back for further information or register with us by email to receive our Battlefield Tours & Military History Brochure in the Autumn.

Future plans for Front Line Tours include:

bulletPublications: battlefield guides and booklets produced by us and exclusive to Front Line Tours.
bulletResearch: Let us research your military ancestors. Using years of experience we can trace any soldier, sailor or airmen who fought in WW1 - and many who were in WW2.

As always contact us if you require any further details of who we are and what we can do for you - the battlefields are our heritage; Front Line Tours are committed to remembering and preserving the memory of those who fought in the Two World Wars.

Proposed Tours for 2004
World War 1 Walking The 1915 Battlefields

A 5 day walking tour examining the key 1915 battlefields of Neuve Chapelle, Aubers Ridge, Festubert and Loos. Paul and Clive will lead the party in two small groups, with none of the walks lasting for more than three hours. A great way to see these 'forgotten battlefields' in greater depth.

The tour will be based in the attractive town of Bethune; a British HQ in 1915.

Expected Departure: May 2004

The Hindenburg Line

A 4 day weekend tour visiting some of the main sectors of this important battlefield of 1917/18. We see the ground around Arras, Cambrai and St Quentin.

Expected departures: May and September 2004.

World War 2 Normandy Inland - 1944

A part coach based, and part walking tour, Clive and Paul have a 4 day weekend tour planned looking at the events beyond D Day. We follow British units into the Bocage, visiting Tilly, the Epsom Battlefield, Hill 112, the Goodwood Battle and Operation Bluecoat - the breakout leading to the closure of the Falaise pocket.

The tour will be based in the historic town of Bayeux.

Expected departures: May and September 2004.
