FF 1072 (Knox class)

Nmaed in honor of Captain Johnston Blakely, a hero of the war of 1812, and his great-grandnephew, Vice Admiral Charles A. Blakely. DE-1072 is the third ship of the fleet of bear the name., having been preceeded by Torpedo Boat 27 and Destroyer 150.
