Subject: Information

Hello,
I found your information about the USS Edmonds. I am trying to find a contact with someone about the USS Gantner. My father was on that ship and has never been contacted about any reunions or information. I realize you are not the person, but I would appreciate any sites or webpages where I might get more information, or even leave my email address as a point of contact.

Thanks in advance,
Fran Whiteman

Brad:

I was working at the Bethlehem Hingham Shipyard in Hingham Massachusetts
when the Gatner was built. No doubt there are many parts in her that I
machined. I ended up volunteering for Aviation Cadet pilot training with
the Army Air Corps, in June 43, and was disharged as an A/C in November 45.

I noticed an inquiry in the beginning of the DELloyd requesting info on
the Gatner
