Launched:       August 30, 1943
Commissioned:   December 1, 1943
Decommissioned: April 30, 1946
Fate:           Stricken (USN) February 10 1949. 
                To China December 14 1948. 
                Renamed Tai Tsang.
                Escaped to Taiwan with Nationalist 
                forces in 1949. Stricken in 1975 
                and broken up for scrap.                                   

We are seeking information on the USS Bostwick and her crews. Files and photos may be emailed to us and we will incorporate them into this page. When enough information has been assembled we will then build the ship her own section.

My Name is Dennis C. Timmins, the Bostwick was my deceased fathers station during WWII (James M. Timmins). I am still trying to aquire further details of his service but in the mean time I thougtht you might want a scan of the ship.
