We will gladly accept personal photos of the Mahan (in just about any format, but gif or jpg are preferred) as an attachment to email. Photos can be scanned at most commercial mail or copier stores.

Russ Owens has contributed a set of photos taken of the Mahan in drydock in 1965.

Subject: DDG 42 Decommissioning video

I have received a black & white fuzzy copy of the video of the DDG 42 decomm ceremony, from Cal Shugart. He didn't say if it should be in color or not. Do anyone have the address of the original production company that shot the video, and had it available for $25? I don't know if the original is color or black & white. I understand from Capt. Jeff Sweet, that the address was listed in the newsletter afterwards, but he does not have a record of it. Any help would be appreciated. I also left a message on Cal's answering machine, asking him for any further info.

Hope to see you all in Seattle. I'll have my video camera again.
