I served aboard the Buchanan from May of 63 until Sep. of 64. We patrolled off the coast of Viet Nam, and were refueling in Pearl when President Kennedy was shot. Can you get me in touch with anyone who served on her at this time?? Do you have a list of sailors who served on her during this time?? Please send me any info you have.
