Montana

RVD: "Big Sky Country" has another one of those boring squares. This proposed shield keeps the state name while adding the distinctive state outline and adding color. Brown was used to stand for Montana's namesake, the mountains, Green for its wealth of timber, and Light Blue for the sky.

From Albert Calis: Here's my design for a Montana shield. I used an Elk in the bottom corner since Montana is a popular migration spot for elk coming in from Canada.

From J. Clevenger: I have proposed these route markers to the state of Montana. They are in blue and white for Montana's "Big Sky" and include the state outline and name. All signs use a rectangular blank for uniformity and easier reading. The arrowhead in the secondary marker is placed horizontally to allow for much larger numbers. I hope you enjoy them.
