Korea (South)

From Gorman Helms: This sign uses the Tae-Geuk [Korean-Style colored yin-yang] that is on the S. Korean Flag. The Rectangular Green background is standard for ALL South Korean highway signs. The Korean writing on top reads [National Expressway] and the direction of the highway is denoted below the number, both the writing on the top and bottom are standard on EVERY S. Korean highway.
To get an idea of what a normal S. Korean Expressway sign looks like, simply replace the Yinyang with a US highway shield with Interstate colors.
