Connecticut

RVD: Connecticut has used the same boring square for a decades. This shield uses the state outline method, with a traditional state abbreviation. During the 1950's or 1960's, Connecticut did use a state outline on their state highway shield, they should have stuck with the idea, it looked good.

From Marion Svendrowski: For Connecticut the Coastline of the State.

From Monty Barker: My submission for Connecticut is an update for old outline shields. Instead of a white background, I switched it to black. The background of the state is grainy because I made this shield from a photo of the old outline shield.

From Jedidiah : Why not replace the 3-digit Interstates with state road shields same go for the Parkways but use "Parkway" for the Parkways since most of them don't cross state line and replace the ones that cross state lines with 2-digit ones for Example Interstate 195 (RI/MA) via US-6 and Interstate 384 (CT) could become Interstate 82 but keep the "Interstate" on their shield as well. Also why not add either the Charter Oak tree or the Nutmeg to the CT Shields because it's CT's State symbol but keep the outline of the State too.
