From Albert Calis : Here is my design for the Alabama state route shield. The shape is modeling after the Florida Toll Route shield. On the top bar, I included the state name, outline, and even the state nickname: "Heart of Dixie" complete with rolling hills (the green under the nickname). On the bottom below the route number is a copy of the Alabama state flag.
