Milepost Map from IDT

The purpose of this site is to offer a look at the growth of Idaho's roadway system, from its earliest days as blazed trails to modern superhighways. Idaho was the last state to complete its work on I-90. As one of only three major transcontinental routes, I-90's completion has been heralded as the penultimate event in the construction of the Interstate system. Wallace, Idaho even buried their Main Street traffic light. US 10 was gone. Even with a business loop from I-90, has downtown Wallace ever been the same? Idaho has used the same basic numbering scheme since 1929, with many numbers unchanged since then.
