This page will cover the Toronto area.  Several images below are from two visits to the large yard known as Agincourt.  Unfortunately mother nature was uncooperative as the days were somewhat gloomy.  Nonetheless, enjoy the pictures.

While the ever present SD40 predominated the engine facility, other units are also present.  Included are a few big MLW M630 and M636's.  The CP was the majority owner of the small Toronto Hamilton and Buffalo Railway.  The CP purchased the railroad outright in the mid-1980's.  A few of their maroon and cream colored GP7's are seen at Agincourt.

cpRDC91agincourt.jpg (81943 bytes)  Here's a rather unusual mixed consist.

cp1500agincourt.jpg (101727 bytes)  A trio of GP7's with lowered short hoods work a cut of auto-racks at the entrance to the yard.

cp1201toronto.jpg (122461 bytes)  A lonely EMD switcher rolls along near Toronto Union Station.

cp5794hamilton.jpg (88572 bytes)  A pair of SD40's is ready to head west sitting at the TH & B yard office in Hamilton.

cp5794bayview.jpg (90455 bytes)  Roaring through Bayview Jct. at twilight.  The skyline of Hamilton is in the distance.

cp4227_niagarafalls87.jpg (90206 bytes)  A trio of M424's are at Niagara Falls, ON yard in October 1987.
