This page will cover the CN main from Montreal to Toronto with a short side trip to Ottawa. Most of the images below were taken in 1987. Unfortunately you can't always count on good weather, so some images are a bit dark.

Hiding under the foot of the tower lies John Street tower at the west end of Toronto Union Station.

The Ontario Northland train "The Northlander" departs Toronto for points due north. The F7 was modified to operate with the imported European equipment.
MLW FP4A 6764 departs for Windsor with train # 73.
GO Transit GP40 706 departs with a local.
At the GO storage yard sit trainsets awaiting the evening rush hour. The F7's were used as cabs for the push-pull service. All have been retired.
