The Permanent Collection
The "heart" of the Museum's website as well as the "Exhibits"
area is this presentation of a small, but representative sampling
of the Museum's present collection of signs, photographs and sign
artwork/renderings. The "permanent collection" will grow
as the Museum makes acquisitions.
On the Road
This section is an opportunity for friends of the Museum to document
their travels and discoveries of vintage signs in their original
environments. New additions are always welcome.
Walking Tours
More formal than the above "On the Road," this section
profiles specific locations-usually towns or cities-where active
sign restoration and preservation is in evidence.
"Art for Sign's Sake"
An area dedicated to artists who pursue themes of sign preservation
and restoration, and capture on canvas those icons that may have
been lost to the scrapyard and/or wrecking ball.
Library Classics
The Museum's book corner where classic sign-related books are revered.
Industry Biographies
Sign persons and personalities that have made their mark in the
history of the sign industry: An annotated bibliography.
Histories
This section provides overview histories of the sign industry, techniques
and other related industry information.
