Hokitika

Cannon made in Scotland in 1813, bought to New Zealand for use in the 1860's land wars and subsequently positioned in Hokitika in response to fears of Russian invasion during the 1885 "Russian Scare". Currently displayed in Tancred Street, Hokitika, Westland.
