The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston has an incredible collection of Japanese woodblock prints & photographs regarding the Russo-Japanese War which they have graciously shared online. Many of these represent naval themes and are well worth a look. These images may be enlarged to an 800x800 resolution.
An excellent site on the History of the Russian Navy celebrates it's 300th anniversary. An online reference book complete with text & pictures makes interesting reading. There are good pictures and statistics about a few of the Pre-Dreadnoughts in Imperial Russian Service.
Perhaps no mention of the Pre-Dreadnought Russian Navy would be complete without including the fascinating Circular Iron-Clads of the post-Crimean War period.
