Since his days as a college student in Mexico, and later as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the southwest Pacific, Rocky Mountain Workshops founder Peter Haney has thrived on honing his woodworking skills and promoting workshop experiences abroad.

Since 1991 Peter's log building and timber framing workshop activities have extended to Russia, Argentina and Peru. More locally his professional interests are closely tied to specializing in the construction of small, highly-crafted heavy timber and log buildings, such as saunas, art studios, retreat cabins and primary dwellings.
