Certificate of Appreciation
Derek Roberts reading a certificate of appreciation for J. Evan Roberts, his father, who was unable to be in attendance. This certificate recognizes the efforts of J. Evan Roberts as a "Steward of the Land" for preserving the cultural and historic sites on the ranch. The Roberts Ranch was homesteaded in 1873 by J. Evan's grandfather, Robert O. Roberts. Accepting the certificate in J. Evan's behalf is Ben Roberts (in the middle), the younger son of Derek. Burke Roberts, upon whose land the celebration took place, watches on.
