Wyantenock State Forest (southwest part of the town of Warren)

Cunningham Road, Warren, Litchfield County, Connecticut

Directions:

From the intersection of Route 7 and Route 341 in Kent village, follow Route 341 east to a right  turn onto Partridge Road; head south on Partridge Road to a right turn onto Cunningham Road; this road touches one corner of north central Wyantenock State Forest. 

Geology:

The northeast corner of Strait's Pond is found in the south central part of Wyantenock State Forest.
