Directions:

Saw Mill River Parkway north to Rt. 35 (at intersection with US 684). Take Route 35 into Connecticut to Route 33 south. Drive south and turn left onto Millstone Road; drive 1.4 miles and turn left onto Nod Hill Road; drive 1.0 mile northeast and turn right onto Patrick Lane; drive 0.3 of a mile to where Bogus Lane and Patrick Lane meet and turn left into the small parking area.

Trails:

I took a brief walk with my dog Snuffy. A local corgi dog (name tag had the word Myles) came up barking, but after I made friends with her, she accompanied us on a short circular walk in the woods, usually running ahead of us.

Head northeast on the red trail to the blue trail (pond on the right). The blue trail goes north or south. I went south (right turn) then followed east downhill on the yellow trail. The yellow trail turns north across a now dry wet-area, then south, then hooks up with the red triangle trail heading north passing mountain laurel. Pick up the blue trail again going north, but then is takes a curve and heads almost south. Pick up the red trail that still heads south back to the blue trail and that takes you back to the parking area (via that short red trail start).  Dr. Patrick L. Cooney.
