US 84 east to exit 5; turn left onto Route 39 north; keep heading until reaching Sherman Center; go past Colonial Park and turn right onto Sawmill Road (at the Old Store Museum/Historical Society building).  In a very short drive, turn left into the parking lot for Veterans Memorial Park.    Farther down the road is the Town Park.
