Directions:

US 84 east to exit 5; turn left onto Route 39 north; drive 18.8 miles to make a left onto Spring Lake Road; drive 1.8 miles to make a right turn onto Beaver Creek Lane;  the land is on both sides of Morrissey Brook.  Find a place to park near the bridge for an overview. 


Geology:

Naromi Brook runs through it.

Happy Acres Open Space is just to the east of the wildlife sanctuary.  There are adjoining Brookland Conservation Easements to the south of the wildlife sanctuary.  Town meadows is southeast of Happy Acres Open Space, so all three pieces of land are connected.  The eastern border of Town Meadows is Route 39 north. 


Trails:

doubtful that there are any trails since the area is mostly wetlands


Pick up a map of many of the Naromi Trust lands on the second floor of the Old Store Museum and Gift Shop at the intersection of Route 37 and Saw Mill Road in Sherman Center.
