Directions:

Merritt Parkway north for a little less than 27 miles to get off at Exit 44; turn left onto Congress Street; turn left (south) onto Burr Street;  keep heading straight and Burr Street becomes Mill Plain Road (at Brookside Street/Road); at the intersection of Unquowa Road and Mill Plain Road, cross Unquowa Road diagonally right to keep going onto Mill Plain Road; a block down the park is on the left (east) side of the road.  Park along the road.   

The School Building Committee proposed constructing a baseball field at Sturges Park.  The Mill Plain Improvement Society opposed the plan.
