Rocky Hill
Northrop Road and/or Benson Road, Bridgewater, Litchfield County, Connecticut

The Rocky Hill property is just west across Northrop Road from the Sunny Valley Preserve: Cemetery Parcel around the pond in back of the cemetery. It is also just east of the Silica Mine Hill property.

US 84 west; get off at exit 7 for Federal Road;  turn left; drive a short distance and turn right at the light for Federal Road; take Federal Road north to a right turn onto Route 133; drive 3.5 miles on Route 133 to the bridge over the Housatonic River; drive 0.2 miles more and just after crossing the bridge turn left onto Northrop Road (across from the Lake Lillinonah Boat Launch parking area); drive 2.3 miles to a left turn onto Benson Road.  Or keep driving north on Northrop Road until you reach the cemetery on the right.  Park near the Sunny Valley: Cemetery Parcel sign.

I do not know exactly where are the two openings for this property and blue-blazed trail

The walker can head north from Iron Ore Hill Road north through the Sunny Valley Preserve.  The blue trail takes the walker up to Benson Road.   The walker can then turn right and head up Benson Road to a left turn heading up through the Rocky Hill property.  The hiker then has two options: at a fork in the road, right over to the Sunny Valley: Cemetery Parcel  or left heading over to Silica Mine Hill.
